Karachi, Pakistan: November 08,2018:On the second day of first ever Young Sports Reporters Training program at Karachi was largely participated young sports journalists from different print and electronic media apart from foreign young sports journalists from Iran, Afghanistan and Nepal keenly participated in training program.
Speaking at the occasion squash legend, Jahangir Khan said that these kinds of training programs would help young journalists boosting their skills.
Warmly greeting the foreign sports journalists in sports workshop, Jahangir said, "You are the future of your country and you have to show positive image of your country globally.

He also guided young journalists as to how to make a contact or Personal Relation (PR) with sportsmen.
Former Test cricketer Jalaluddin addressing the occasion said that the organisers has taken a good step to organize this workshop.
He said that such training programs should be organize on monthly basis.
Former Karachi City Cricket Association (KCCA) Chief, Professor Aijaz Farooqui, Chairman Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA), Alamgir Shaikh, Leisure League Deputy CEO, Zaib Khan, Women football organizer, Sadia Sheikh, senior sports journalists, Abdul Majid Bhatti, Waheed Khan, Ehsan Qureshi and Salim Khaliq also addressed the event.
The senior journalists, while sharing their experience with junior journalists, said that new generation should give their all-out efforts with the basic points of journalism, to achieve their goal set for the larger medium.

They urged participants to turn to digital media as social media viewed by millions and gets the quickest response globally.

Later, APIS Asia Secretary General, Amjad Aziz Malik presented souvenirs to former KCCA Chief, Professor Aijaz Farooqui, Chairman PBSA, Alamgir Shaikh, Leisure League Deputy COO Zaib Khan, Women football organizer, Sadia Sheikh, senior sports journalists, Abdul Majid Bhatti, Waheed Khan, Ehsan Qureshi, Salim Khaliq and Mehmood Riaz.
The visiting journalists were taken to Quaid-e-Azam museum, Olympion Hanif Khan and Dr Junaid Ali Shah Hockey Sports Hockey Complex,KHA. Abdul Sattar Edhi Hockey Stadium, Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) and famous shopping mall in Clifton by SJAS organising committee.
It is worth mentioning here that a three-day AIPS Asia YSR Training Workshop commenced on Monday. The event is organised by SJAS in collaboration with Pakistan Sports Writers Federation.
